Barry, I recently read an artticle referring to the book "Seven Weeks To Sobriety", and on the programs that sponsor this treatment regime. I am glad to see nutritional issues being addressed so aggressively, especially as we come to understand more about our chemical needs and connections. I do need to mention that alcohol withdrawal can be a serious, medical, and life threatening situation. I would hope that anyone who experiences withdrawal symptoms whenever they try to stop, will seek medical attention. I cannot comment on the book as I have not read it yet, however I do think there is merit in pursuing scientifically controlled studies to further investigate the book's findings. This takes money, of course, and hopefully there will be those who take on the task! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
