Long term effects of Oxycontin

by Linda, Nov 10, 1999 12:00AM
My sister is addicted to oxycontin... it is not prescribed to her, she buys it off the street. Recently my sister has moved in with me and has been making an effort to wean herself off the drug. I have noticed that she vomits nearly every morning. She also complains of her hands going numb and seems to have panic attacks.. or at least she is panicking at an increased heart rate. Are these (numb hands, vomiting, and increased heart rate) side effects of oyycontin? I would also like to know what the long term effects of this drug is in terms of liver and stomach damage.
