As with all of these things, it's great when your high but not so great afterwards. The more you do the more not so great that afterwards will become down the road. Regardless, I've done it a dozen times or so myself and well, it is pretty fun. I think I'll be waiting for a little more research to be completed though before I do it again. Basically, everything is really euphoric, not hallucinatory, but euphoric like everything feels just great. You become more social, more confident, and every sensation, be it smoking or touch or drinking water feels better than it has ever felt in your life. Basically what the drug does is increase the release of serotonin in your synapses, the space between the dendrites of your neurons. When you come down you can feel depressed or just a little sketchy. If you tried it you'd understand what I mean by sketchy. Side effects include depression and anxiety. For your info, I just started on Zoloft for these reasons, but they may either just be in my head or be because of my regular drinking. I haven't figured it out yet. Anyways, there are two great sites for all your questions that I have found relating to numerous drugs of all types.
www.dancesafe.org
www.erowid.org
Check those out and they should be able to answer most of your questions. I'm not saying the drug is good or bad. Knowledge is power, so check those sites out and determine if it's something you want to do. Cheers,
Chad
Your regular drinking is the most likely cause of your symtpoms you described needing the zoloft for. It is caused by the alcohol withdrawal. It is quite unpleasant isn't it?
To those curious to use ecstacy, you may want to read one of the other posts on this forum about ecstacy and the persons friend who went into seizures and almost died from it. Is the HIGH worth the risk of death?
