They might be on vacation. It is mid-summer. But they should post something to that effect. Makes me wonder if the site is going to be closed down. They say they have no money ... I hope not because I can't find an equivalent anywhere else on the web.
go to www.ibogaine.com, or lookup ibogaine on a search engine. The stuff apparently blocks the cravings for opiates and cocaine. It is administered IV in a hospital in a controlled setting and the effects last a long time. They say it makes people re-experience incidents in the lives. They also say it produces a state of "wide awake dreaming." Sounds kinda cool, like mescaline or something. mmmmmm ....
Have a good day all,
Lindy.
There is a Brian who has been posting frequently in the Addiction forum and the Chronic Pain Forum. It could be another Brian however.
This site has a doctor who participates in the Spinal Disorder Forum. His name is Dr. Whitworth. He is an Anestisiologist and a Pain Management Specialist. He does this for free and I have found him to be one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever known.
Here is the site..just highlight it and copy it and paste it in your browser. I think it takes you to the addiction forum. From there you can scroll down to the drop down menu and select the forum of your choice. Try it as you will not be sorry.

thanks for being here
Also, Being in the situation you are in do you find yourself more open to people with Chronic pain or do you find yourself more cautious in treating it? I was just curious. My doctor is such a hero for all he has done for me. I have read this site for a while. I have myself psyched into thinking I am addicted and I think at this point I am. I am addicted to it physically.
I just hope it is not mentally. Only time will tell. Anyway, Glad that you are back we all missed you. Alot happened didnt it!
Sincerely,
Lindy.
P.S. I realized all the above is rambling. Please forgive me. I am not even sure I asked a question up there. I just wanted to know what your thoughts were on all the above!
To all---- I checked out the site that Ronnieg suggested and it's really good as far as content. My opinion---ok calm down--- it'll be short--- is that the format is too tiring for me to hang around there long. You cannot see the subject matter unless the poster includes it in their question. So if a question says... unhappy in Kansas for example, you can't know if it's about heroin, pot, cocaine or something totally unrelated. You have to open each one to see the content and also to see who replied. I personally found it to be so much work that I got disinterested. This site is easier because you can scroll and see the topics on one page unless you go to the archive of course. There you have about 6 pages to choose from of current questions. If I get involved there it will be a career. Also there are more commentaries there... here there is much more of concise, right to the point replies to the specific question. See what you think but please don't jump ship and leave me here all alone :-)) Love, Brighty
