reply to Kyleekate     Are there any County programs where you live.  Ex.  In Youngstown, Ohio we have the Mahoning County Chemical Dependency Program, Outpatient services, Methadone etc. and the services are free to those who qualify.  I don't know where you live, if you can travel to another state.  Maybe The Doc can help you and also you really should ask him about the Hep C.  Good Luck   Cindi

If your daughter has HCV(Hep C)due to IV drug use, she should also be tested for HIV.  There are many sites devoted to HVC on the Internet.  Learn all you can about the disease.  I have it and learn something new about it everyday, it's that multifaceted!  Simply put, everytime you drink alcohol or injest Tylenol, you are feeding the virus that is devouring your liver cell by cell.  Education about this chronic illness is your best bet.
