Posted by CCF CARDIO MD JMF on June 13, 1999 at 20:17:57 Dear T I am sure that you are concerned about your symptoms. It appears that your physician has done an extensive review and has provided some assurance that this is not your heart. I would recommend a Holter monitor or an Event monitor to track your heart during these episodes. You can keep a diary while wearing this monitor to describe these symptoms and will have your heart monitored through one of these spells. I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back and keep us informed of your progress. Information provided here is for general purposes only. Specific questions should be addressed to your own doctor. If you would like to make an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Heart Center, please call 1-800-CCF-CARE or inquire online by using the Heart Center website at www.ccf.org/heartcenter. The Heart Center website contains a directory of the cardiology staff that can be used to select the physician best suited to address your cardiac problem.
