Question Title: Mitral Valve Surgery Patients

Forum: The Heart Forum
Topic: Mitral Valve

I am scheduled for mitral valve repair surgery, and have received opinions
on "minimum invasive" and "open sternum" procedures. I am leaning towards
"minimum invasive" for the obvious reasons, and would like to have some
patient referneces if possible. Can you please let me know if I could
talk to someone who has this procedure performed?

Thank You
Gary

Dear Gary,
I will adk the cardiothoracic surgery team if there are any patients who would be
willing to talk regarding their experience with minimally invasive surgery,
however this seems a question more appropriate for a chat room, no? This forum
is a medical informational forum and not one where we supply names nor information
on our patients personal matters. Good Luck.
