Subject: Re: anterior septal wall ischemia & fixed decreased perfusion involving the inferior i would like to find out as much as possible about anterior septal wall ischemia & fixed decreased perfusion involving the inferior apex. thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Edward This test result implies that you have had a heart attack involving the bottom of the heart. In addition, a front part of your heart is supplied by a heart artery that is diseased, and this part of the heart is at risk for a heart attack in the future. This result would usually prompt a cardiac catheterization. I hope this is useful. Feel free to write back with further questions. Good luck. Information provided here is of a general nature. Specific diagnoses and treatments can only be made by your doctor. If you would like to be seen at the Cleveland Clinic, please call 1-800-CCF-CARE for an appointment with a cardiologist at Desk F15.
