Sarcoid

by Lynne E., Aug 29, 1999 12:00AM
I have pulmonary sarcoidosis----I know that this disease can

go into my heart.  If you are familiar with cardiac sarcoidosis, could you tell me what symptoms I would have should it ever

enter my heart?  I realize that for many, the symptom is heart attack but there are a few who don't get to that point.

Thank you

Lynne

Cardiac sarcoidosis presents as heart failure, shortness of breath, leg swelling, etc.  It does not usually cause heart attacks.
