Vasotec treatment in athletic teen w/LVH, rt BBB, abnormal stress test, etc.

I wrote some time ago re:LVH, etc. in my now 15 y/o athletic son. I pursued a work-up as recommended at Children's Mem. in Chicago. He was put on Vasotec, 2.5 mg. BID x1 wk, then 5 mg. BID x1 mo. BP has come down; his appetite has decreased and he is chilly frequently even though weather is warm/humid. No other side effects. He is allowed to play fall baseball (no football for now) and we don't know about basketball until repeat stress test in Oct-Nov. New cardiologist also referred us to endocrinologist, appt 9-20-99 at CMH. I am still concerned about causes; HTN never detected until 8-98 even though child had frequent physician visits for sports injuries, etc. I researched LVH, BBB, abnormal QRS
