echocardiogram results

by L. Wright, Oct 17, 1999 12:00AM
I took redux for several months before it was taken off the market.  I had an echocardiogram two weeks ago and just got the results. I am not sure what the results mean to me and where I should go from here.

The results state that there is "trivial mitral insufficiency and a mild increase in left atrial dimension". There is also mention of "a tiny amount of posterior percardial fuluid"

My question is, "Now what?"

Dear L Wright,

This is a screening echo and reveals only trivial changes to your heart.  Keep your weight down and BP controlled and you will do fine.

It does not apear that you have classic changes from redux.
