Heart Palpitations-Any help out there????????

by DENISE, Oct 25, 1999 12:00AM
I am a 48 year old woman. I am missing periods and get some light hot flashes. I am not taking hormone replacement at this time and I exercise around 4 days a week at the health club. My problem is heart palpitations which I get at least once every two months. This is another sign of menopause which hasn't been touched on very often. If you could please give we any suggestions on how to stop them when they come or web sites that could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Denise

In my experience these can be associated with the onset of menopause.  We have had a number of questions on this topic in the past several weeks and you can find previous postings and answers.  In addition it may help you to contact via email those women who left their addresses for additional support.
