Genetics of CAD

Grandfather died at age 57. Uncle died at 63. Father had massive MI, l00 percent occlusion of LAD, and nearly died, and now has only l5 per cent EF. How would I know if I had CAD? What tests

should I have? Mother does not have, is in relative good health at age 78.

I would take the converse approach and assume that you do have CAD.  Therefore you need to take steps to prevent its progression such as a very low fat diet, regular exercise, stopping smoking and regular follow-up with your doctor.
