Can a person with a transplanted heart change thier cardiac output? If so, how?

Patients with heart transplants can exercise and are encouraged to do so. Their cardiac output is increased the same way that a normal heart's cardiac output is increased. While denervation can sometimes affect the tranplanted heart's ability to modulate heart rate, this is most often not a problem.
