Restrictive cardiomyopathies in general do not have effective medical treatments. In certain situations though, heart transplantation may be effective. I hope you have been evaluated by a medical center with transplant capability to see if you might be eligible.
P.S. my e-mail address is ***@**** if you want to talk.
I am on the donor waiting list but my cardiologist thinks that time will be running out soon. I always believed that when it is your time God is going to take you no matter what so what Is meant to be will be I guess. It is a comfort to me knowing that others will be able to live If I don't get a heart in time. My mother has been waiting for a kidney donor for a long time. We are a perfect match, but my doctors won't even think about it unless I don't make It.
I hope that you can get some help with your depression. I was for a while when I was told that I may have a year left but most likely less. Now I just go with the flow and enjoy every day when it comes. Its funny how you appreciate things more when you may lose them. To help my depression I went for walks [well I can't walk I use a wheel chair now] or listened to calming music things like that to take my mind off of things. I hope that one day you will be able to find something that works for you. No one should have to live feeling lost and hopeless. suround your self with family and friends and enjoy all the beauty that God gave us share. There are alot of support groups out there. Your doctor can find one for you I'm sure. It may help you to look at other postings. There seems to be alot of people concerned and worried about benign arrhythmias and all the doctors have said that they may be scary to have them but they are not life threatening. If you develop any symptoms then they become more concerned about them. Hang in there and know that you are never alone. God is always there with you. God Bless you. Debby
Good luck to you. I too believe that God lays out a path for each of us, even if it is not always apparent to us at the time.
your feelings are not trivial. thank-you for for your thoughts and concern they mean alot. please don't feel sorrow for me.i have lived a life full of joy love and happiness and i'm not scared at the possilbility of dying. if i had my life to live over i wouldn't of changed a thing. i feel so blessed for the life i have lived. i will light a candle for you as well and hope that you can find some comfort everytime you feel down. never make light of how you are feeling because you think someone may be worse off. i know what it is like to feel the way you do and i also know how terrible it can be. take care, i wish you all the best. debby.
