Question Title: Advice about Clindamycin

Forum: The Dermatology Forum
Topic: Acne

Posted by Nenad on August 06, 1999 at 10:13:11

I have been using Clindamycin 1% solutio (local application, on face) for a month and the results are very good, but I don't know how long should I use it, or how dangerous are the side-effects.
So, I would be very grateful for some information on that topic.
Thank You.

Nenad:

Clindamycin is extremely safe when used externally as you are doing. It deson't irritate or sensitize to the sun. Basically, I would keep it up as long as you need to. Once you're clear, you can stop and resume it later if your acne returns.

Best.
