Posted by Blake on July 29, 1999 at 15:45:10 Ten days ago I noticed a bump on my scalp that was very tender. Since then two other bumps have appeared. Now the bumps also have small puss pockets all over the top of each bump. On the sixth day following the discovery of these bumps I started a high fever and severe neck, back pain accompanied by a headache. The headache lasted for four days. The back pain still exists and I am also fatigued. I at first suspected a spider or tick bite. However, I am uncertain. Help.

Some of these would require antibiotic therapy with some urgency. If you haven't got a personal physician, I suggest consulting a walk-in clinic or Emergency Room. No treatment may in fact be needed, but if you don't have someone take a look, you won't know. Good Luck.
