I have what has been diagnosed by my doc as KP. This basically is difficulty of shedding of dead skin around the hair follicles. I want to know if it will ever go away. I have tried a lot of remedies without success

Kavita:

The technical name for what you describe is keratosis pilaris.  This is a hereditary condition in which bumps appear around hair follicles, usually on the upper arms or thighs.  You can smooth and them out by applying an alpha hydroxy moisturizer and then rubbing the skin with a Buf Puf or loofah.  As soon as the skin becomes as smooth as you want, you can stop the process and resume it as needed.

Best.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed several brown and pink spots appear on my back   -   they are itchy at times and get aggravated from my waste band on my panties and bra   -   they don't seem to want to go away    What could it be - what are the symptoms for shingles?
