1. Get your friend to shave.
2. Apply one percent hydrocortisone, which is over-the-counter, twice a day to irritated areas.

I get razor burn on my legs very easily, and I read about trying 1% hydrocortisone cream. Just a light film will do. I apply it right after I towel off, and I have none of the itchy, burning sensation or the red marks the next morning. It has worked wonders on my legs!
