Armpit infection

I have developed what appears to be a fungal infection in my right armpit. The infection is chracterized by small bubbles containing clear fluid. It appears very similar to a foot fungal infection that I have had in the past that I got at the gym. My armpit skin has become very red and sore and the infection has spread slightly down the right side of my torso.I am presently keeping the area clean and applying a fungal cream called Trosyd to it twice daily. Although this appears to have some effect it does not seem to be working very well. This has been going on for almost one week now.

This sounds more like a demratitis or inflammation than a fungus, which is quite rare in the armpit. Try applying a hydrocortisone cream twice a day for a week. If that fails, see a physician for more definitive diagnosis, or for a prescription for a topical corstione-based cream, which should clear it up promptly.
