Laser for Spider Veins?

by Ebru, May 11, 2000 12:00AM
I have spider veins on my face (red veins-small). I tried that electric needle on one but it didn't work (my derm did). What is the success rate for treating these on the face? Mine are not large but they can definetly be seen up close. Is there ever scarring from this procedure in your opinion?

Thanks

Ebru:

Lasers of a variety of sorts work quite safely and well on the sort of blood vessels you describe.  Although scarring is possible, in careful hands it is most unlikely.  Find a dermatologist expereinced in the procedure.

Good luck.
