Skin cancer and the treatment.

I would like to get to know about the Recklinghauseni morbus disease. That is a skin cancer which is developing all over the body. Could you please inform me if the illness is curable. It is very important to me.Thank you in advance.

Karina:

I am sorry to disappoint you, but I am unfamiliar with the term.  Von Recklighausen's Disease is another name for neurofibromatosis, a hereditary condition in which tumors called neurofibromas develop.  Sometimes these turn cancerous.  If that is what you mean, you should be evaluated by a dermatologist. Also, check the website http://www.nf.org/

If not, I guess you'll need to get a definitive diagnosis anyway, without which all explanations are futile.

Best.
