brown mark on penis

by n1965, Feb 11, 2002 12:00AM
When I was about 17 I masturbated very often and sometimes until I caused open

wounds. There is this one wound that I got that healed over but their's a brown mark

where the wound used to be. It doesn't hurt at all. There's also a couple of vain's

around it. I'm now 21 and it's still there. Could it be a scar? If so, are there any

cream's or anything that would help it fade away?

When the skin is traumatized, it can leave behind a brown mark with extra pigment.  If the pigment is still there 4 years later, it probably won't go away on its own.  There are creams you can buy without a prescription containing the bleaching agent hydroquinone.  Doctors can prescribe stronger concentrations of this.  They can also perform laser treatments.  These are simple and not expensive.  However, I'm not sure that either approach would make the mark disappear.  If you want, you can visit a skin doctor and ask about either of these methods.  But I think you would be better off just ignoring the mark, since it doesn't mean anything.

Best.
