Red/Skin Colored Bumps on the Scrotum and Above Penis

by Knightro2, Mar 29, 2003 12:00AM
I'm 23 and about a month or so ago I noticed three small bumps (1/4" - 3/8") on the left side of my scrotum just below my penis. They are flesh colored, fairly firm, just below the skin, and they don't hurt. I began shaving down there less than a year ago and didn't think much of them, I thought they were just irritation from shaving. As far as shaving goes I use an electric trimmer, not a razor. They haven't gone away and now I just noticed two more just before the bottom of my shaft on the pelvis area (near the bladder) and one more on my scrotum towards the right. They don't have "tops" to them like zits and are not open sores. They are just little lumps attached under the skin. . really weird.

It might just be my imagination, or wishful thinking, but I believe the first set of bumps is starting to recede. I can't be sure.

I just became sexually active again after a 3 year hiatous. I've never had these symptoms before. I've only had one other sexual partner and that was when we were both virgins, the girl I am with now was a virgin before me.

I've done some research on the net and the only thing I can figure out it that I might have SEBACEOUS CYSTs. Do you have any

other conclusions and what can be done? Also, can you give me your own description of SEBACEOUS CYSTs?

They do indeed sound like cysts.  These are common in this region and can be white-topped or flesh colored.  They are normal anatomical variants.  I think you should leave them alone and show them to a doctor for definitive diagnosis.  In all likelihood, you'll be advise to ignore them.

Take care.

I seem to have very small bumps on my penis. Around the head aread. They're slightly larger then a period on the end of a sentence. Below the head their is just one large group of them. It seems like a rash but it doesn't itch. I masterbate quite often and I thought that might be it. Also I don't dry off after I masterbate. I just put my pants back on and go. Around the bottom there is like little open pores. And whenever I squeze them white stuff comes out. I figured it was from the *** getting inside and drying but im not sure.
