ingrown hairs

by Betsy21, Mar 04, 2004 12:00AM
Hello, I am in need of help concerning ingrown hairs on my breast.  I had experienced these for a couple of years and thought that they were part of many problems that come with being big breasted. I had breast reduction surgery 2 years ago and they have once again appeared.  The hair is tiny and white but seems to be somewhat stiff.  I have try using facial scrubbs with an exfolianted and also using a body brush in hopes of keeping them from becoming ingrown and infected.  Do you have any advise.  Thanks for your help.

I think you need to see a skin doctor to be sure of what these are.  Rather than ingrown hairs, they may be scars from old pimples.  What you should be doing, if anything, will depend on what they find.  If these are ingrown hairs, then hair removal by laser or other techniques may be the best approach.

Best.
