| heyblah 12/27/2005 | . | For the past year or so, I have had a couple bumps that have appeared on the crease of the upper thigh where the thigh meets the scrotum. There are NO bumps at all on the scotum or anywhere else on my genitals. Just on that crease. There is no pain, no itching, nothing, just these bumps. They look like pimples almost with a whitehead, but you can't pop them. So just tonight I took a go at it and cut the top off and the white part seems to come out as a hard-ish ball. Any idea what this is? It doesn't really scare me that much, I am just embassed to go get it looked at if it is nothing to worry about. It sounds like it might be a cyst because of the little ball? Is that the case? Thanks for the help! If you have any other questions about what it looks like, let me know... |
| Derm-M.D.-ASR 12/28/2005 | heyblah | I think these are probably cysts, as you suggest. However, I cannot diagnose them with certainty without seeing them. Other possibilities include skin tags and warts, which on occasion can affect the crease of the thigh. I would suggest that you not try to pop them and show them to a doctor next time you go to see one. Take care. Dr. Rockoff |
