Question Title: Double vision, severe redness

About three weeks ago, my left eye became very dry and irritated. I tried eye drops which relieved the redness for a while, but never longer than an hour. Along with the irritation, my vision in the left eye is blurred, and I noticed that my pupil is slightly larger than the right eye. My eye is also slightly swollen. Before this, I had never experienced this problem. Is this just "dry eyes" or should I be concerned.

If in fact, your pupil is larger than the other eye, this is not just dry eye. One possible explanation for this is if you are using eye drops to get the red out, they may contain a medication which can also slightly dilate the pupil. In any case, since this is different from what you noticed before, you should see an ophthalmologist and take the drops with you.
