hi mhi doctor awhile back at around aug 5th or so under liver etc. I posted a question on hepatic cyst and pylori. I thank you for your answers and now I was wondering if these two things can upset my system as I now have diverticullosis with these others. and the grand finally of IBS this is the one i was wondering can pylori added to everything else help bring on ibs or irritate it ? or which one could have caused it thanks mike

Dear Michael,
Diverticulosis, outpouchings of the colon lining resulting from straining at defecation, is not related to H. pylori infection. Both conditions are very common and it is not unusual for people to have both conditions. Similarly, irritable bowel syndrome is not related to H. pylori infection.
