Question Title: biopsies showed esophigitis, ph probe showed not much reflux????Forum: The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Forum
| ||||
I have been taking reglan and prilosec since 7-198, symptoms pursist so I had endoscopy w/ biopsies in Sept. The results showed some esophagitis, A ph probe was done 2 weeks ago, but not much reflux was seen in the 24 hours. I have migraine and tension headaches with ocasional nausea but no vomiting. The GI will do a gastric emptying on Oct. 16, he asked about an MRI on my brain and will have one schedualed. My question is, what would he be looking for? a possible problem with my brain? Why would there be esophagitis but not much reflux, I still get GERD symptoms nausea without headache, burning in my throat esp. in AM, wird feeling or pain along esophagas.Could I just have had a good day as far as reflux during the 24 probe and should it be repeated? Thank you Cathy ___ HFHSM.D.-rf
