Question Title: acute right low back painForum: The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Forum
| |
I am a 38 year old female. Two weeks ago, I experienced a very acute low back pain to the left of my spine. So severe that I went to the ER. They did a CBC and Urine test. They said all was fine and that it was probably my back. The pain subsided over the next two days, but I went to the back doctor they referred me to later in the week. He told me it was probably not my back but related to my kidney(s). The very next day I had another attack. Very severe. I went to my regular MD and he did a urine test - finding a trace of blood in my urine. He set me up for an IVP which I did today. He informed me that the test results showed everything to be fine. My physician told advised me that all tests were fine. After all this testing I still do not have a diagnosis. Most importantly, I am worried about the next attack. Who do I consult? Should I go to another MD? L. Davis _______ This information is presented for educational purposes. Ask specific questions to your personal physician. HFHSM.D.-rf
