diet for stomache ulcers

i suffer from stomache ulcers and the only advice i have had from my doctor is to eat dry bread and fish is there some thing else i can eat please help

I suggest you do a little research on the web about Ulcers.  The modern treatment is antibiotic as most are caused, at least in part, by a bacteria (h. piloria ...mispelling forgive please)...



I may be mistaken but I think that most physicians prescribe a normal diet these days.  My mother's did this year.  She was told to avoid anything that hurt or gave her gas...and to be aware that seeds, skin, nuts might be difficult.



Anyway, there's lots of great information about ulcer treatment but I don't have any help for you regarding diet.  Never heard of bread and fish.
