hemangioma in the liver

by tasha, Jun 26, 2001 12:00AM
i have a hemangioma in my liver, I am 34 yrs old.  It appears to have grown since we first noticed it 3 yrs ago.  Is it normal for them to grow? and what causes it to grow?  I am planning to get pregnant in the near future and want to make sure this will not cause problems to me or the child?

What should I expect 30 yrs from now?

Had a ultrasound (actually two), a cat scan and liver biopsy and they still are not sure what it is on and/or in my liver.  Maybe a hemangioma??!  Just a slight elevation in one liver enzyme and I feel fine.  Anyone else with or ever heard of this.
