48 Hrs. with abdominal pain, should I be alarmed?

48 Hrs. with abdominal pain, should I be alarmed?

Prior to 48 hours ago I was the model of good bowels. I usually had movement once a day if not more. Just over 48 hours ago I had a bout of strong (sweats and almost passing out feeling) diarrea. I did go out to eat twice that day so I thought this could be a case of over doing it. The next day I had intense pain in my lower abdomen with minor blood in my stool and very little release of bowels. I ate lima beans and half an apple. Today I have more abdominal pain. Also had a diarrea episode in the early morning then slept a lot in order not to feel the pain. Now I am still experiencing discomfort in my lower abdomen with no release in sight. I haven't eaten anything today in fear of more pain that could come. Does this seem like something sort term that will pass or is it a beginning of bigger more serious things to come.

it sounds like there might be something wrong w/ your gallbladder. this is just my opinion, but i think you should go see your dr. just to make sure there's nothing wrong.
