Strange symptoms (spleen, ankle, malaise) several years ago

I had some type of illness around 10 years ago.  I had a low-grade fever, a bloated feeling under my upper rib cage (spleen?), one ankle was quite painful not allowing me to walk right, my heart seemed to be beating faster, and I was exhausted.  I am not worried about this since it has not recurred, but when I went to the doctor, he could not find anything after giving me a blood test.

My question is simply one of curiousity.  What could that have been?  I had been staying in New York in an area where Lyme disease occurs for a few days, but once given antibiotics, the illness passed and never came back.

Would somebody have an idea as to what this could have been?

Thank you.

The ankle was unlikely related to your other symptoms. If it came and passed, I wouldn't worry about unless it returns.
