continuing digestive issues almost 1 year after laparoscopic choelysystectomy

I have found that taking caltrate (with the purple markings on the box) with a meal, for some reason that stops the diarrhea. But you have to take it with every meal. Then again, here i am 8 yrs later and i dont have that problem all the time anymore, just sometimes. Havent put a finger on when or what it is i am eating, just happens whenever it wants.
I went from dr to dr over this, no one could find a thing or give me a reason why this started after removing my GB. (other then telling me i had IBS) I found it more helpful talking to others on messageboards with the same problem.
