Indigestion or burning

by TPX, Jan 03, 2002 12:00AM
Recently, it seems that each time after a meal, I feel really full even if I didn't eat a whole lot, and I feel really uncomfortable as if I am going to throw up.  I wonder if I am getting heart burns or an ulcer or what could be causing this?

You didn't say for how long this was going on.  If it's been for a while you need to go see a doctor.  If it occurs after eating a meal high in fat content it could be your gallbladder.  My doctor and I spent several months thinking I had a ulcer or acid reflux because I had no pain that could be related to my gallbladder.  If you only had this problem for a few days it could be something simple like a virus.  Seeing a doctor(s) is the only way to know for sure.

I HAVE SIMILIAR SYMPTOMS EXCEPT I HAVE HAD ALOT OF VOMITING TOO. MY G.I. DOC KNOWS I HAVE REFLUX (I HAD AN U.G.I. AND 24 HR. PH/MOTILITY PROBE), BUT HE SEEMS TO THINK IT MAY ALSO BE RELATED TO THE GALLBLADDER. BLOOD TESTS HAVE SHOWN NOTHING FOR GALLBLADDER AND NEITHER DID AN ULTRASOUND. HE SAYS THAT THESE TESTS ARE NOT ALWAYS CONCLUSIVE. SO NOW I AM SORT OF STUCK FEELING SICK MOST OF THE TIME.
