Indigestion

Hello,
Lately I have been having indigestion all the time it is like a cool burning sensation in my throat,this has been going off and on for about a month. Back in Sept.2001 I was having URQ pain and the doctor said I had pleurisy (quit smoking in Sept.2001)and gave me some pills (for an ulcer) that did not work,I also had blood work,urine test, pelvic and gallbladder ultrasound all came up neg. so I went to a different doctor and he said that he could hear some crackling in my lungs and gave me Biaxin(spelling)I don't have the pain as much as I used to but the doctor said that he could still hear a little bit of the crackling in my lungs. But now I'm getting this indigestion all of the time can someone tell me if I do have gallbladder problems will it come and go with the pain or will it stay,also when I get this pain it is during the day never at night. Also what are some symptoms of acid reflux,or GERD. Any help is much appreciated.
