Crohn's Disease and Depression

by jasona, Feb 27, 2002 12:00AM
I have Crohn's disease and recently heard that some people experience Depression with Crohn's due to a deficiency in the body of certain vitamins.  Is this true?  My wife and I have noticed some uncharateristic bouts of depression lately.  Does anyone have any information?  Your reply is very gratefully appreciated.  Thank You!

Hello, I just came across your question and it is very normal to have deppression, my husband also has Chrones and let me tell you his personality has done such a flip flop sometimes I just try to stay out of his way.  He has had so much trouble trying to get any Doctors to even listen to him it's not funny.  So if your deppressed I just wanted to let you know it's ok.  My husband really could use someone to talk to so if need someone than please e-mail me seperate from this web page at  ***@****  maybe we can get phone numbers.  Patty.
