Hey! I have the same problem, although I didn't know it was possibly due to a dye! I'll have to ask my doc the next time I see her.

I'm not here to scare you, but you asked also for any who've had attacks following ERCPs and how long. I've had numerous ERCPs and have had attacks following each one. They know now, to draw the bloodAmylase - blood
Bleeding
Blood cells
Blood clot formation
Blood clots
Blood culture
Blood differential
Blood gases
Blood gases test
Blood glucose monitoring
Blood in semen while I'm in recoveryRecovery position - series before they wake me to check it to see what it's doing. And each time, I've been admitted to the hospital for around 4 days.

So, there's a good chance that you won't have an attack afterward, but there's a small chance you will.

Please post after your procedure to tell us how it went, or email me. I'm anxious to see how one does when dye isn't used.

Thanks for posting and answering my question.  The last ERCP I had that the dr. used dye in, ended me up in the hospital for 9 days.  And at that one, the dr. didn't go anywhere near my pancreaticBiliopancreatic diversion (bpd)
