Anyone have a pituitary disorder?

by littlejen02, Mar 09, 2002 12:00AM
I was wondering if anyone went undiagnosed for a long time, and then found out they had a pituitary disorder

( or endocrine problem ), and what their symptoms were?

Thanks!

Hello, I have had a pituatary tumor since i was 17. I am 31 now. I had surgery and radiation in 1989 and have been on meds since. I am a male. My type of tumor was a prolaction secreting tumor. I found this by having milk come out of my nipple, strange for a guy.I also have very bad headaches etc. I am doing ok now blood test every 6 months and hormone replacement.

That is so weird. I'm having nipple discharge for the last 5-10 years and been having really bad headaches non stop and sharp pains in my chest and stomach area. What kind of test did you have done to diagnose this?

get a blood test to test your prolaction level.the chest pain is something different.
