It has been recomended to me that I under go one of the most extensive versions of this operation.  Part of my stomach would actually be removed.  Though i did pose some of these questions to the surgion  i just wanted to get a few more opinions regarding the effects of this procedure.  



would it be effective?

is it even partially reversable?

what are the long term risks to my health?

would i ever be able to eat normally again and are there any foods such as sugar or otherwise that i might not be able to eat?
