LUQ pain under left arm pit towards chest...Concerned

Good Morning. I have been getting this annoying pain for a while now. I saw my regular doctor who is a cardiologist and he said he believed this was a skeletal problem and not to worry. I am 30 years old. Every once and a while I get this burning pain that I can actually point to. If I take my right hand and place my fingers under my left arm pit and push towards my chest that is where it is located. Under my left arm pit and between my left arm pit and left nipple or ribs I guess. It seems like it acts up a good deal if my diet consisted of acidy foods throughout the day. Antiacids dont seem to work and I am getting concerned about it. Do you have any advice on what this might be? Any advice on who I should see about this? Thanks.

Hey Sean...scroll down to the message I posted on 5-13-02. Seems a good many of us have left side pain, me included. Read the posted messages and maybe you'll find more of your symptoms. Let me know what you think!
