Gastritis § Weight Loss?

by Jason27, May 16, 2002 12:00AM
Has anyone else with gastritis have a hard time gaining weight? Also, did you lose a lot and even though you're eating find it hard to gain back??? Just wondering why my weight hasn't come back even though I'm eating. Would appreciate any insight.

Hi Jason,  yes I too have lost alot of weight.. although.. I am not complaining being I have been overweight. It's harder to gain back the wieght cause you have shunk your stomach   Try eating high carb foods... and eating several times a day to enlarge your stomach again. Can also try protein drinks to help gain back wieght....
