Immune System

by Ets, May 19, 2002 12:00AM
My Son-in-law's name is on a list for a liver transplant.

His immune system is nill, however, due to years of prednisone

usage because of Crones. Is it too late for for a wholistic approach to a cure or healthy liver with enzymes, vitamins or diet at this point?

You didn't mention the reason your son needs a liver transplant.

If the reason is AIH, PSC, or PBC....he needs his immune system turned down (the way you describe). That's the goal.

An active immune system would cause more troubles.

One more thing---

If he is on the liver transplant waiting list, get anything that he takes approved by the liver transplant team at his center.

Don't give him any new substances without their approval. (Otherwise, He can get booted off the list.)
