I had a sub-total colectomy 15 years ago for constipation. I am now questioning whether I made the right decision. For some strange reason six months ago I started have problems. Severe gas, bloating, nauseua, weight loss. One GI doctor said my small intestine is acting as my large intestine .... if that is so it is more uncomfortable than my original problem. I had surgery again last December and no one could find anything wrong. I am still trying to find answers.
I would be very interested to know who your doctor is?
study mine still showed in the x-ray six weeks later I also have had to drink go-lytle three times I take miralax everday. How do you find out if you need this surgery? I have had a colonoscopy
and the DR said everthing was ok but my digestive system has just
about stopped. I can go three weeks without a bm. I am onen to any suggestions. Love Robinsue
