My mother has been having constipation about once every week or two...

Hi...My mother who is 70, has been having some constipation about once every week or two...last week she had dirreha (but that was prob. something she ate)...Is this colon cancer? Or just old age, or IBS?

Probably just old age.  Make sure she is drinking plenty of water.  Old people tend to get dehydrated.
