Post-esophageal resection problems.

Post-esophageal resection problems:

I'm very fortunate in that the lump removed was Stage 0 (carcinoma in situ), I have however, continued to have significant problems 9 months after the surgery was performed. The surgery itself went very smoothly, lasting 5 hours and presenting the surgeon with no unusual or difficult problems. In fact everyone involved in the process were impressed with the rapidity of the recovery process from the surgical procedure itself. I had pre-existing conditions, however, exacerbated by the surgery: chronic myofascial and chronic fibromyalgia pain syndromes. I would appreciate any input anyone might have or be willing to share with me regarding the problems I continue to experience.
