What pain meds can you take, other than Tylonol, without upseting stomach ? Why do some doctors not offer carafat ? Why is it up to me to figure out what test I need and to ask for it. I have no medical training.          Thanks

I was on Toradol and Advil for years only to find out that I now have Gastritis.  They were very hard on my stomach.  I am now taking Celebrex (which is normally for Arthritis but helps with headaches)  It seems to work most of the time.  It is by perscription only, but a non-narcotic.  Ask your Dr. to try you on it.  My Dr. gave me a few weeks of samples to make sure I could take it okay. (I have many drug reactions)
