Edema, can't eat, Liver and Pancreas problems

by cousin, Jul 11, 2002 12:00AM
My cousin has been hospitalized for 10 days.  She is having liver problems/function, pancreaitis, they drained 6 1/2 liters of fluid out of her belly area, and now has edema in her legs.  The doctors still don't know what's going on.  She's a bright, beautiful 35 year old women.  This is a mystery to us and we are all trying to find an answer. Any help appreciated.
