Share how long it has taken you to heal or learn cause and effect with your Gastritis, Gerd ?

Have you found comfort or relief ?

So many factors contrbute to the stomach and heart and how they function But if you are told that yours is sensitive and doing all you can, Now what ?

Thanks for Sharing and Caring

It depends on what type of gastritis you have, what is causing it (bacteria like h-pylori); were you scoped and biopsies taken?

I have chronic gastritis with symptoms that exasperate and remiss.  I've had this condition for seven years now.  I've been tested for h-pylori which comes back negative.

When I have symptoms, sometimes they go away in a few weeks and other times, like now, I struggle for months.

Can you be more specific in what you are dealing with and how you were diagnosed?

I have exactly the same problem. I had an ulcer before. Took the antibiotic and cured it. But the pain came back after about a month. After that I did gastroscopy and biopsy, which came back h/pylori negative. Did CT scan, ultrasound, PH test etc. etc. all came back negative but I still wake up every night with pain. Biopsy did find inactive chronic gastritis, but when will this stop and how can I cure it???

My endosocpy looked fine 7 months ago. Both H.Pylori blood tests 6 months ago looked fine too.

I will try Acupuncture again tomorrow , This M.D. also does western/eastern and is very educated in that our hospital supports his efforts.

Trying all we can,

Have you found relief with Probiotics, digestive enzymes or any medications ? Was the diagnosis Nud when you first went in and meds did not help. I keep a journal to all tried, and good and bad days.

I have added Avocado to my daily diet for the past 8 days and enjoy it.

I did use antibiotics for many dental visits due to MVP heart and stress was a factor when onset began. Here is to all of us having a good day indeed

My son who is 26 has had stomach problems for several years now.  He has been to the doctor and all they tell him is that it is irritable bowel syndrome.  But he has terrible pains in his stomach almost every day.  Everytime he eats anything he has to go to the bathroom and experiences severe pains.  He frequently has diareha and I am really worried that he may have something serious wrong but the doctors can tell him nothing.  Does anyone know what could be wrong or what test I should have him tell the Doctor to run?  I would appreciate any information that anyone might have.

Are you better on some days then others and find even with the same diet, exercise it will still act up bad ?

How long for complete healing , We all ask ?

What do you think about DGL and trying it as I have for so long ? What do you think about Acupuncture ?

Have you found any Probiotics, or anything healing for the stomach helpful ?

Do you feel as if you have the Flu it gets so bad ? Thanks

I have had chronic GERD for a number of years and am also a type two diabetic.  My diabetes is good control but I am having daily pain in my chest, stomach and it radiates even to my ears.  I have had the common testing done by GI doctor and my latest test of my esophagus has been normal.  Is there anyone who is having the same kind of chronic pain and if so how are you handling it?
